Hara Karamichali was born in 1967 in Athens, Greece. She learned to crochet from her grandmother, who was from Izmir. As Hara developed her technique, she began sculpting wire and incorporating semi-precious stones into her designs. Her creations are inspired by nature and the beautiful landscapes of her native Greece.
